Plus $25 Material/kit fee payable in cash to the instructor on the first day of class. Additional materials may also be available from the instructor.
This dimensional workshop which is one day a week for 6 weeks, will start with learning the basics of how to create a box, a cylinder and a dapped circle form. Each form has their own tricks involved in their creation; participants will learn a variety of tools and techniques that make these forms functional. We will review filing, scoring, sanding, sawing, rivets and forming. The finishing touch for any one of these objects will include either a tension fit lid or a hinge and clasp. Participants will leave class with a finished box, cylinder and locket.
