What You Will Learn:
The 4-part class for beginners will focus on table-top photography with lighting and a tripod. The first session will get you thinking about what kinds of photos you need. We’ll talk about what makes a good photo and a bad one, what styles of photos you’re shooting for and what options you have for equipment within your budget. The remaining classes will start with a brief lesson on technique followed by hands-on practice in your own mini-studio.

Whether you’re shooting with a smartphone or a digital camera, you can get great photographs of your work. Prepare to learn about the equipment you already own and what you need to buy to have a completely stand alone photo studio for small items. Bring your jewelry to class to practice shooting with the instructor by your side. By the last class every student will have the skills to consistently shoot well-lit and nicely composed images of jewelry and small items.
