Social Media Manager

BMAG has a Facebook page and an associated group that needs a dedicated manager to post regular updates and expand the guild’s presence on social media. This requires a desktop or laptop computer, internet access and decision making & editing skills to copy / paste the appropriate information to the Media in the format(s) they request. 


  • Take supplied Course Information and submit to various social media websites, including our FB page.
  • Creating Events for each Course in a consistent presentation as they become available. This is done once for each Course as it is made available on the website and is critical for the Courses to be viewed by the public
  • Create posts to promote BMAG courses on our FB Page and any other, affiliated, Pages and Groups.    
  • Join FB groups / pages to expand BMAG’s presence on social media. We also would like to expand this in the near future to more than just FB .. and this could be done by the same person or others working in concert with them.

    Note: Extensive assistance and guidance will be provided by the Communications Chair for someone interested in learning how to do this very important and critical position.  You do not have to live in Bellingham to do this role.
